Anthurium antolakii (BVEP) x Red Crystal (purple emergent) cross (BVxRC-2231)

Absolutely gorgeous Antolakii (formerly Black Velvet Eastern Panama) cross. The leaves will have a blue or red glittery sheen, depending on the angle. I included some up-close shots of the newest leaf so you can see the glitter around the sinus, midrib, and throughout the leaf itself. At first glance, it looks like dust, but it's glitter!

One of my favorite qualities is red around the sinus and forming the edge of each leaf. This boy is sizing up fast and has a great root system already. The damage on the third largest leaf appears to be mechanical. It was acclimated in a stratum box with several other anthuriums. Best I can guess; they started elbowing each other into the wall once they got big.
