A large, Florida beauty with low but pretty variegation. The variegation spans every color beauties have to offer: white, cream bordering on aurea, all the way to subtle green on green.
Florida Beauty is a variegated version of Philodendron 'Florida' (i.e., Florida Green), a hybrid of Philodendron pedatum and Philodendron squamiferum. Most of the squamiferum comes through, but the additional whiskering on the lobes and the lack of fuzz come from the pedatum.
Beauties love to climb and will start whiskering and producing larger leaves if allowed to. We find these to be easy - if not relatively slow - growers. Unlike many other philos, they don't seem to suffer from the dreaded "Cinderella Syndrome." However, their variegation is notoriously unstable, which makes them a bit finicky to prop.
